The Small Start of a Big Problem
Wishing Things Away
Hello all,
Seven months ago, a small, seemingly inconsequential problem appeared. I did what many of us do—I hoped it would resolve itself. It started with my precious little Egyptian hairless cat, Ramses.
Hesitation and Escalation
Weeks went by, and the slight irritation turned into a bump. I hesitated to medicate Ramses, hoping the problem would resolve on its own.
The Consequences of Waiting
But time didn't heal it. Instead, the wound grew deeper, Ramses' anxiety intensified, and my concern grew. Despite all efforts, the situation escalated.
Living with Regret
Now, I sit with Ramses, watching him adjust to life with three legs, wracked with guilt and heavy "what-ifs."
The Universal Lesson of Catching It Early
We all do this in different areas of our lives, ignoring small issues until they become big problems. Ramses' story reminds us to act with courage and address things early.
A Call for Reflection and Action
